We’ve turned the page – 2013 is upon us – now what?
What are your hopes and dreams for 2013 and how do you plan to achieve them?
Here at Mustard Seed Associates we’re working to reimagine how to best live into our new tag line, “Inspire… Connect… Create”. To do that effectively, and with integrity, we have to begin with ourselves. Reimagining the possibilities for MSA is at the heart of inspiration and begins by listening together to the Holy Spirit; hearing how God is speaking in, through, and to each of us.
But we can’t stop there. Connecting is also central to who we are, our connections within our core team and our connections with you. We don’t just listen internally, we listen externally. The word “Associates” in our name is not just for looks, we see ourselves as part of something much bigger, a movement of God that transcends denominations and national borders because the Kingdom purposes of God are so much bigger than any one of us. For MSA to truly be effective we have to hear how God is working through you.
This relationship of mutuality flies in the face of much of the world’s embrace of competition. Mutuality is not just counter-cultural, it’s a Kingdom value often overlooked in our quest for economic survival and desire to stand out from the crowd. Mutuality means we want to hear from you; we want to know how MSA has inspired you in the past and we want to know how MSA can be a part of your future – connecting together for the transforming purposes of God.
Transformation is where we’re headed. What is it that God desires to accomplish in and through MSA? What is it that God wants to accomplish in and through you, your church, your organization in 2013 and beyond? Our Creator God is inviting us to move beyond imagination and into action… to co-create with God, and one another, in the healing and transformation of all creation.
Like roots penetrating deep into the soil of God, we invite you to join with us in unleashing your imagination in 2013, discovering new ways to partner, to collaborate, to live into the mutuality of God where “each part works together”(Eph. 4:15-16), and together with God, to create a tomorrow infused with the Shalom of God.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with powerthrough his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
