My husband and I make a point of spending some times each year where we take extended times to pray for each other, our family members one by one, and friends. We also seek direction regarding the several endeavors that we are part of. These are precious times!

Thanks for responding. Takeing time to get away as a couple is indeed a precious time…to be with our God and with each other. We find praying for family and friends is important as well as listening for a fresh sense of God’s call on our lives.
Good on you both and have a blessed celebration of Easter with those you love.

Thanks for sharing your experience of retreat.

I really love this post. Inspirational, for sure, and the call to be reminded of how much we are loved is something that many miss even though they have other good spiritual disciplines in place! I am glad you took the time to capture this reflection.

    Hey James,
Always good to hear from you. Thanks for finding the focus. The core of the story we are all a part of is that on best days and our worst days we are deeply and incredibly loved by the God who creates and the God who calls.
    Thanks James,
