Free does not always mean “Free”!
— Andy Wade —
Hey, how was I to know? It says, “Free” right on the cover! I guess I should have read the fine print: “Spending your time and money on what matters most”.
Seriously though, it was a great turnout last night at Portland’s Arbor Lodge for the Scandrette’s book reading, signing, release party. They were joined by their kids who treated us with a unique perspective on what it means to grow up in a community focused on simplicity in order to prioritize what’s most important in life.
A book review will be coming, but I couldn’t wait until I finish the book to get the word out. More than a book, this looks to be a life-transforming workbook for those who want to move beyond living simply, to living simply in a truly purposeful way.
Take a listen to this summary from Mark, then go pick up the book, get a group together to read, discuss, and work through it, and unleash your life from the shackles unintentional living.
